The Golden Jubilee Tree

Stable Close is a new housing development set around a green. This green is the site of the Golden Jubilee Tree, planted in 2001 and dedicated to the village and Queen Elizabeth II on 3 June 2002. The Tree is a Liquid Amber Maple. Sixty villagers attended and a Golden Jubilee Cake was washed down with Bucks Fizz.
